Wow, this month is really going fast, between work, crafting, and enjoying the season. I love trying to find the perfect gift for everyone on my list - I know the techie would love an iPad or at least a big iTunes gift card, the traveler needs new luggage sets, my college student just wants tuition money, and the hubster is being very practical with requests so I need to wrack my brain for that "unwrap attack" gift (see my eBay $100 gift card giveaway post if you don't know what an "Unwrap Attack" is!). While I'm nowhere close to being "done", I feel like I've got a good handle on what it will take to get there.
But what a nice respite from all the hustle and bustle to just unwrap an embellished matchbox daily and countdown the time until Christmas. My box #9 comes from Shannon in Wisconsin, who writes at Quilting in Pinks, Bulldogs at My Side (say THAT 10 times fast!). I adore the mini-pompom trim and sparkly snowflake on the outside and the handmade "Hope" book marker will definitely get used by this book-aholic. Thanks, Shannon!!
