Golden 'Versary Giveaway

February 3rd is my 3rd Blogiversary!! I cannot believe I've been blogging for three years. Not a very exciting or highly visible blog, but a nice constant throughout a busy and unpredictable time in our lives.

As a big thank you, I have prizes for THREE lucky readers (US or International)!!!

1) For my Christian sisters, I have a wonderful new devotional journal that I cannot wait to share with you. It's a 365 day red leather(like)-bound undated book that you can start at any time. I've been using it this month and LOVE it!! If this is the prize you want, leave me your favorite verse for 2009 in your comment.

2) For my sewing readers who have little girlies in their lives, I have the cutest Little Flirty Skirty apron pattern. This adorable pattern is from The Apron Lady, Jan Lutz. If this is the prize you want, tell me a little bit about the girlie in your life and why you want to make her this apron!!

3) For prize number #3, I will make the winner an original Flirty Apron designed my Moi! Think ruffles, rick-rack, and a lot of sass. If you want this prize, you have a little homework. Go through my aprons on Flickr and leave a comment here with your favorite(s) and also tell me your favorite color in an apron made just for you.

You may enter for all three prizes, just leave separate comments for each. EXTRA entries for blogging about this giveaway on your blog with my giveaway image from the top of this post, linking back here and leaving a separate comment telling me ya did it!

Are you feeling the love???

Entries close at Midnight, February 2 (Pacific Standard Time), and winners will be announced on February 3rd. Make sure I have a way to contact you ... leave an email or blog site if you're posting anonymously. If winners don't reply within 48 hours, I will draw a new winner until all prizes are distributed.

PS -- You're also invited to join my Flirty Valentines Apron Sew-Along!!

PPS -- Like giveaways? Jump over to Bloggy Giveaways for HUNDREDS more giveaways this week!!!

Great giveaway...I would love to give that daily devotional to my wife. Recently I have been memorizing the following:

"Let all bitterness, and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

Eph. 4:31-32

Thanks,

What great prizes!! First of all:

I love the devotional journal! It's so hard to pick a favorite Bible passage, but one of my standing favorites is Psalm 127 =)

Mrs. Wolfe said...

For the little girl's apron, I think it would be such a wonderful thing for my little sister. I just love to cook and wear aprons, and she's always wanting to help me in the kitchen. I think she would adore her own apron!

Mrs. Wolfe said...

And finally for the coustom apron:

Oh my goodness...SO HARD to pick a favorite. I just loved the ones intitled "FASProto" and "SassySwap", but they are all so cute! I love anything PINK! =D

I think the devotional looks wonderful! I will leave myself out of the other two entries... my luck, I'd win the pattern (and I never sew!) or I'd win the stellar apron, which I'd love to have, but which I couldn't justify given that I cook, oh, maybe once every other week. :)

Thanks for doing this!

I'd love that devotional book. The verse for me this year is the one talking about casting you cares upon the Lord.

Entry for prize #2--

Kidlet and I participated in your Mommy and Me swap, and we had a blast! We're always trying to find time to spend quality time together, especially since she's growing up WAY TOO FAST and I'm busy with my night classes. Whipping up a batch of brownies, cookies, or cupcakes is one way for us to do this. Besides, she'll be 10 in two months, and it's about time that she starts learning how to cook! Of course, we must keep our clothes nice and neat and cover up with an adorable apron!

I really like that "cupcake apron" but if I won I'd prefer:
-the full apron to the half (i'm pretty messy in the kitchen and while the half is cute it's not too practical for me)
-a blue or other colored background to black (I just don't really love black and don't wear it often)
-cherry ribbon trim

I also thought that holiday "pinup" apron was adorable in red and white! very cute.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway. I don't have an apron yet and I'm learning to cook!

OK, I am back,,,lets see, 105 aprons and we have to pick one! aacckk!,,,I narrowed it down to 5 then three, the "Lola", ApronWOZ & HotMama(coffee cups & beans),,, so I did the eenie, meenie mo thing and picked the ApronWOZ-the one with a pic of Dorthy on the bib and the Wicked Witch on the bottom. What a clever apron.

Karla, thanx for the verse. <><

Ok, now I am off to the garage to try to staighten up some cluttered shelves. Oh Joy!

#2. I have two daughters, but my oldest is eleven and is really starting to be a big help in the kitchen. Yesterday she made tortillas and helped me knead my bread. If I could find time, I'd love to make something like this for her.
Thanks for the giveaway!

#3. Your apron creations are just adorable. I'm the kind of cook that needs the kind of coverage a full apron would offer, but your little ruffled half apron is just so sweet. I think my favorite apron is the spring fling apron. I love those colors, but I also love bold florals. I don't actually see anything you have done that I wouldn't be more than happy with!
Thanks for the giveaway!
