Did you set out your shoes with Christmas lists inside for St. Nicholas Day? German children will leave their shoes outside their bedroom doors tonight.
Good children will find candy and small gifts in their shoes in the morning;
Naughty children, switches of lumps of coal.

Now, if only I had remembered to pick up some chocolate coins this weekend. Looks like I'll be raiding my early purchases for a few small gifts!
