Monday, Monday ..

This has been a typical February for me ....just a blur!!! I have finally been diagnosed with a severe Vitamin D deficiency(so has Miss T!) and have been taking supplements, but I still am in such a fog on winter evenings. I come home from work and just want to sleep. Plus I'm so overcommitted in Feb -- Girl Scout cookie mom (because no one else would and I couldn't let the girls down), women's retreat snack coordinator (fun, just detailed/demanding - LIVE! is our theme), my new Thirty One business (some of my bags shown above - and March is half-price purse month), plus I'm trying to finish my HR Management Certificate at Portland State University and have several night classes this month. **YAWN**

My health has certainly taken a back seat - I'm not exercising again nor eating right (those GS cookies are tempting!). I'm still hanging on to Mamavation Mondays. This week's topic is Caring for the Caregiver. Both my parents have had significant illnesses and have now passed away so I totally understand this topic. Stop by Mamavation TV to hear their guest speaker, Angie Miller (@midrm4evr).

Oh, yes... the curse of Oregon winters is a lack of Vit. D. There has been a lot of research lately that all of us should be taking a D vitamin supplement throughout the year. (We heard of this through Doernbecher for our kiddos.)

I bet your mood will be better once you get enough vit. D. I has been gloomy here, hasn't it? Have a great week... keep up the hard work to get fit. ...and walk away from the cookies!

Hope you get back on the wagon soon. And I had to start taking Vit D. Have a better week!

Wow, sounds like you need a few more hours in the day!
Tomorrow is a new day and month. It'll all happen and things will fall into place.
Have an awesome week!

With being a GS cookie mom and in charge of snacks for a retreat I would be munching 24/7 or close to it. Good job on your will power. Glad you have your Vit D deficiency diagnosis to work with. Have a wonderful March... spring is almost here.

Shawnee don't feel bad, people who live in climates like Arizona where it is to hot to go outside also have Vit D problems, I did and was shocked! GS Cookie sales here, cub scout den leaders, soccer granny, music lessons & in spite of HR position, I was laid off yesterday...eating oatmeal today, exercising at least 10 minutes and talking to God, He will keep both of us well.
The kids choose snacks by reading the calorie, sugar and fat content (not bad for 7, 8 &9) and the love hummus, fruit, veggies, so they choose snacks. You will get back on track, I have faith in you!
