Portland Farmers Market
We drove downtown for our first visit to the Portland Farmers Market. What a serene and lovely event, right in the middle of such a busy city. Check out these gorgeous radishes! Those came home with us.
Then we stood in a lo-ong line to have some Pinestate Biscuits breakfasts ... biscuits and gravy for T and me, killer chicken, bacon, egg, gravy "sandwiches" for the boys.
I tried to get a scenery shot ... I think I need a better camera!
Master Gardener Show
After a quick stop at a couple of other shops down the I-5 corridor, we ended our day at the Clackamas County Fairground where the Master Gardener Spring Show and Sale was going on. Lots of vendors with plants, seeds, and more. Check out this creative yard art piece made from an industrial-sized light bulb!!
We brought home a couple of succulents, some free seed packets they gave to all the kiddos, and a couple organic basil and rosemary plants. Topped our day with dinner at a local hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant that was cheap and tasty, El Chilito. Delish!
