How did you get interested in felting? Did you learn it from someone, see a bag you liked? Just want to try something new? If you have a picture of your first project, please include it!
When I took up crocheting again about a year and a half ago, I had never even used a yarn other than acrylics. I've come a long way, baby!! In surfing the internet, I kept hearing about felting and fulling, and saw some amazing pictures. So, I got brave and decided to try my hand felting. Of course, I totally messed it up since I didn't use a real pattern but modified one for a bag intended to be made in thread by using a larger hook and wool, mixing in some fun fur. Here's the silly picture! The lip of the bag is all wavy, but it's mine. I've bought and created terrific patterns since then, and really enjoy the excitement of throwing a perfectly good article into the washing machine and the surprise on what turns out!

Thanks much for playing along and making it easy for me to find! Lovely bag...
Really cute bag!!
Oh cute! You can help wobbly tops by knitting the novelty yarns with a strand of wool still with them - the wool will felt in, sucking hte novelty with it even though it doesn't shrink up. That's quite cute though!
A-humm Tag your it...come visit my blog :) Sorry, they got me!
Your first felted bag has a striking resemblance to my first foray into novelty yarns. Mine was black and red. Looks like you've come a long way, the projects on your site are fabulous.
I love the bag you did for the international tote exchange, the ribbon is perfect. (Is there a pattern for this one or is it a one of a kind?)
I have also bookmarked the pattern for the Spidey-ghan. My four year old nephew will loose his mind when I give it to him.
