In swapping, participants have the opportunity to express preferences regarding color and style, but it really is partner's choice. In this round of the swap, we all made ruffled aprons (MINE is still not done -- blaming extended family/work/church obligations but I'm so sad to keep her waiting). I stepped out of my normal color combos and shared that I adore yellow/grey. She certainly chose well! And all the little goodies are appreciated and perfect.
